Kier Olsen DeVries

About Me

I am an experienced consultant with a strong background in editing and content development across both traditional and digital platforms.

For over 23 years, I served as Senior Editor at The Communication Initiative, an international online network that closed in March 2025 due to funding cuts. In that role, I became a subject matter expert in communication for social change, including global health, vaccine uptake, social norms, and more. My editing work also extends to the broader fields of humanities, social sciences, gender, culture, and spirituality.

I believe meaning and impact emerge through collaboration grounded in participation and dialogue. Guided by this conviction, I have cultivated enduring relationships with clients and stakeholders. A key passion of mine is communicating with those from diverse backgrounds in timely ways that reflect my genuine desire to help bring people's vision to life via the printed word.

I hold an MA in Philosophy from Georgetown University, and my extensive volunteer work and board membership focuses on bioethics and religion.
